Product introduction

For the product,the antidripping agent (a kind of polyhydric alcohols,we are the exclusive agency in China) provided by CSC, South Korea and the antifogging agent (liquid antifogging agent, fluorine content of more than 90%) produced by Taiwan Fengsheng are used; EVA resin is used as the carrier; and the internal mixer is used for production. The high-grade EVA film produced with this masterbatch is featured by a low precipitation rate, rare blooming phenomenon, antidripping and antifogging period of up to 6 months or more, and a better light transmittance.

Large-scale cooperation regarding this product has been established with several solely South Korea-invested agricultural film plants in China and the product has been well received.

Product advantages

Most other antifogging masterbatch products in China are produced with Made-in-China antidripping agents(monoglyceride system or a small amount of alcohols) andantifogging agent (a silica-absorbed antifogging product with fluorine content of about 30%) provided by Japan Riken; not all of the masterbatch carrier uses EVA resin but the main body of linear polyethylene powder mixed with a small amount of EVA resin. This kind of masterbatch process is simple and easy to operate. It can be made with ordinary masterbatch equipment.However, it cannot adapt to high-grade EVA films.Such EVA films have a fast precipitation rate, severe blooming phenomenon, and antidripping and antifogging period of less than 6 months.

As we all know, South Korea antifogging films have occupied most of China's high-end antifogging film market for a long time. They are well received by Chinese farmers with an ultra-long antidripping and antifogging period, and high light transmittance. To this end,we chose to work with South Korea CSC to introduce their antidripping agent into China for the production of the antifogging masterbatch applicable to high-end EVA films.

Mechanism of eva antifogging film

Anti-dripping film-covered solar greenhouse may have severe fog after uncovering the straw mat in the morning and covering the straw mat after sunset or in cloudy days. The reason is: when the atmospheric temperature is significantly lower than the greenhouse temperature, the temperature of air in the greenhouse is quickly cooled by the low atmospheric temperature, and the pressure of saturated water vapor decreases; saturated or supersaturated air at a higher temperature cannot accommodate the existing water as the temperature rapidly decreases; therefore the excess water in the greenhouse immediately condense into small water droplets, that is, the fog. As the surface activity of antidripping agent is low, all it can do it to reduce the water surface tension to 25-30 mN/m. After the greenhouse is cooled the excess water in the greenhouse cannot be rapidly condensed on the film surface. Therefore, the antidripping film plays an antidripping role only, having no fog-reducing feature.In order to allow the antidripping film to have a fog-reducing function,it is necessary to add a surface-active fog-reducing agent. In the presence of fog-reducing agent, water surface tension can be reduced to 20 mN/m below; the water that cannot be accommodated in the cooled air of the greenhouse condense into water on the film surface quickly to form a thin water film; and then the water film flows down into the ground under the action of the antidripping agent. It also allows the pressure of water vapor after cooling to be lower than the pressure of saturated vapor to eliminate the conditions for fog formation and to achieve the antifogging effect.

Usage guide

Film blowing after mix polyethylene and the product in accordance with the following ratio; use upon mix, no mixture is allowed to be stored for a long time.
