This product is processed through extrusion, taking high-quality LLDPE as the carrier, adding a certain amount of light stabilizer UV absorber and anti-droplet surfactant. It is mainly used in the field of agricultural plastic film, significantly extending its anti-aging period and anti-droplet period. At the same time, the added additives do not have an impact on each other and on the polyethylene material.

Mechanism Of Action

In the wavelengths of sunlight, about 5% is ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 290-400nm. lt is the main cause of aging due to light for plastic and other polymer materials because most plastics tend to absorb the wavelength range of ultraviolet light.Ultraviolet radiation will form many free radicals and induce polymerization with polymer chains leading to molecular chain breakage and crosslinking, resulting in aging and degeneration,so that the physical properties of the polymer are significantly reduced. Our company adds the light stabilizer and UV absorber in anti-aging masterbatch according to appropriate proportions so that the product can inhibit and reduce the photoaging effect,thereby extending its service life.

Anti-droplet and anti-aging indicators are directly associated with the thickness of the film, moisture within the greenhouse and film covering environment, e.g., if the content of 0.08mm double anti-functional masterbatch is 10%,covered with plastic film in the greenhouse, without broad irrigation, then the film covering time should be about 130 days provided that the failure area in anti-droplet period reaches 50%. The anti-aging performance design should be changed as per different requirements of users，not otherwise specified,the film with general design thickness of 0.08 mm, should be continuously used for 10 months, and the residual tensile strength should be larger than 60% compared with GB4455-2006.

Usage Guide

Polyethylene should be mixed evenly with the masterbatch, and then conduct film blowing. It should be mixed when required,which cannot be stored for a long time.
